Although the existing fixtures were functional, they were not specifically designed for learning environments. Over time, several limitations became apparent:
- Glare levels were relatively high, causing visual discomfort for students and teachers
- Light distribution across desks and teaching areas was not fully uniform
- Some fixtures showed signs of aging, affecting the overall lighting quality
Solution: UGR<22 and Flicker-free design LED Panel Lighting System
To improve classroom lighting conditions, the project adopted UGR<22 LED panel luminaires specifically designed for educational environments.
The new luminaires utilize a back-lit panel structure, which distributes light more evenly across the diffuser surface compared with traditional designs. This results in softer and more uniform illumination throughout the classroom, helping to create a comfortable learning atmosphere.
Key Technical Features
1.Low Glare for Learning Environments
The panel luminaires are designed with a UGR (Unified Glare Rating) below 22, helping to reduce visual discomfort in classrooms.
2.Back-Lit Design for Uniform Illumination
The back-lit panel structure ensures a more even distribution of light across the entire diffuser surface.
3.Durable PMMA Diffuser
The luminaires use a PMMA diffuser, which offers excellent optical stability and long-term durability.
Final Results
Following the lighting upgrade, the classrooms experienced a noticeable improvement in lighting quality and visual comfort.
The new panel luminaires provide more uniform illumination across desks and teaching areas, while the low-glare design significantly reduces visual strain for both students and teachers.
Client Feedback
The client expressed strong satisfaction with the improved lighting conditions in the classrooms.
Teachers reported that the new lighting provides more comfortable and evenly distributed illumination, helping students maintain better focus during lessons.
